Update for Feb..

Here's the Ranger so far. Finished Audio book of LOTR working on this one, will start Hobbit audio book and keep going.    I love the rich colors of this! And it has big blobs of color so it goes rather quickly. The Stitch the Zodiac SAL part this was in ended, and switched to 'Scale" HAED for the Pisces event.    Progress on Scale  Very pleased with how much got done on her. She'll stick around on the radar as well.   New Start for Superbowl Sunday,  only I'm doing it as "Superb Owl party" from "What We Do in the Shadows" comedy. So I started this  My fabric is "Bahamas Blue" 28ct hand dyed, and I love the colors and the artwork of this design. The kit is excellent quality too! It's not often I've seen owls with flowers in a realistic type setting, so I love everything about this one.  I also found a few beautiful owl themed HAEDS in the 50% of sale, so it was all about superb owls that day lol. Not sure when I'll get the...

Progress on the Ranger

There's very nearly a page done on him since beginning the Capricorn challenge. That has really surprised me- and I must say it's due to Pattern Keeper and how easy it is to follow a pattern with that. (Winter Wings isn't this fast to work on)  Today will be the last day of the Capricorn challenge and it'll be another WIP to switch to Aquarius challenge for that. But I will take a progress pic to record here after stitching today.  Edit- here it is  I've reached the bottom and right side of the first page. I didn't think there'd be nearly this much progress! This now puts Ranger in 2nd place behind Winter Wings as most progress done on My HAEDS.  Ranger however, will keep going with other challenges/ themes. I know myself well enough to run with a wip while inspired about it and get as much done as possible- life often pops up and changes my focus.  I'm also listening to LOTR audio book and it's got a long way to go yet, so that too is a fun way to ...

So it began...

... with this project...  ...and The Hobbit audio book, which I'm only listening to while on this wip. I'm in a sea of brown threads at the moment, which makes for fast progress even if the colors aren't that exciting. I'm going to keep Ranger as a bit of focus peice, because I would like some good progress. And for me bigger progress happens more easily after the initial start phase of a project. And with Full coverage projects, it takes longer to get to that point. A page done is a big deal!  For this wip, I'm using the Stitch the Zodiac challenges from Full Coverage Fanatics on fb. Lol how's that for a mouthful. This particular one, Capricorn theme, runs to Jan 19th. After that I'm switching to the Stitchy Quest fb group that's all LOTR themed for keeping Ranger going.  (Full Coverage Fanatics or FCF, will start its Aquarius challenges on Jan 20th and I have wips that work for that) I'm going to try 2 lengths of floss per day on Ranger, (that'...
