Update for Feb..
Here's the Ranger so far. Finished Audio book of LOTR working on this one, will start Hobbit audio book and keep going.
I love the rich colors of this! And it has big blobs of color so it goes rather quickly. The Stitch the Zodiac SAL part this was in ended, and switched to 'Scale" HAED for the Pisces event.
Progress on Scale
New Start for Superbowl Sunday, only I'm doing it as "Superb Owl party" from "What We Do in the Shadows" comedy. So I started this
My fabric is "Bahamas Blue" 28ct hand dyed, and I love the colors and the artwork of this design. The kit is excellent quality too! It's not often I've seen owls with flowers in a realistic type setting, so I love everything about this one. I also found a few beautiful owl themed HAEDS in the 50% of sale, so it was all about superb owls that day lol. Not sure when I'll get them kitted cuz I've been kitting other HAEDS lately.
New Start Feb 16, 2025 .
"Merry Mushroom Village Picnic " Max colors by HAED, art by Amy Stewart. 2 over 1 tent stitch on 25ct Antique white lugana. Most of the threads were already in my stash but alot needed yet.
This one is pure fun with all the colors. I haven't assigned any sals or anything to it, but I was happy to get it going finally.
AND currently, for the Full Coverage Fanatics SAL " PIECES " it's been "King Arthur and the Two Crowns" by Frank Dicksee and HAED.
The project was the original paper version from 2004, and you see it's progress in the pic. However, when I got the digital version I opted for Max colors in hopes of more detail. My plan then was to just merge my wip into the digital version- but this has proved too glaring. The digital version is much brighter and the old paper version very drab and dark and blobby . I suppose that the charting capability has dramatically improved in the last 20 years.

At any rate, I've frogged most of the drab brown on the right side of my WIP and begun filling it up with pale creams and pinks now- quite a difference! it's looking much more like the picture, of 2 ladies on a balcony rather than blobs of brown, pink and orange. In the first Pic the first lady's nearly done but she's just a brown blob with a bright pink cheek.
For this WIP I'm listening to the Harry potter audiobooks and we'll see how far it goes ...
March is gonna be a crazy month here so I'm trying to get as much done as possible before mayhem reigns supreme
